We are taking the time to write to you to thank you so very much for selling our property recently and achieving a price that was above QV.
Being long-term property investors, we have bought and sold many properties over more than 30 years, and have had experience with real estate agents on many occasions. Our experiences, in general, led us to make the decision last year to sell one of our houses privately. We were successful in selling that property (also at a price well above QV) and were well down the track of selling another property when we decided, due to time pressure, to instead sell it through a real estate agent.
It was at about this time that we first met you – when we bought another property that you were the agent for late last year. It was through that interaction that it became a no-brainer for us to ask you to sell one that 2nd property that we were in the process of selling ourselves.

Right from the start, you both listened to our outline of expectations, and we know from your responses and questions that you had actually heard and understood them, rather than paying lip-service to them, like many do.
Your communication skills are second-to-none and every email, report, phone call and personal interaction has been amongst the best that we have experienced. Your communication, humour, and patience throughout the ‘interesting’ due diligence process was outstanding.
Your understanding of the rental investment market is excellent, which we know can only really come through having rental investment properties yourselves. The property you just sold for us had many permutations for a potential investor. We know that you presented the most relevant option(s) to each investor based on their specific requirements so that our property could be viewed from each buyer’s unique perspective. In the process, you found the right buyer and one that we know will enjoy the returns from this property for many years to come.
Things that matter, and things that are valued, can be quite different. The $ result is what matters most, it seems, to most people – and the $ result you achieved for us was fantastic. What we will remember most though, is how those results were achieved and that is what we valued most about our experiences with you.
